I received a text (so I've heard) from a TalkTalk engineer regarding a fixed issue, asking for a response via SMS with either 'FIXED' or 'NOT FIXED'. However, since we're TalkTalk customers and haven't actually reported any problem ourselves, I’m a bit hesitant to call. I fear it might turn out to be some sort of costly texting scam.

I received a text message (apparently) from a TalkTalk technician about a fault they’ve supposedly sorted. They want a reply acknowledging whether it's 'FIXED' or 'NOT FIXED'. The thing is, we're actually with TalkTalk but haven't reported any issues ourselves. I'm a bit hesitant to call as I'm worried it might turn out to be one of those pricey text scams!
