There’s a show on BBC 1 called ‘Scam Interceptors’ that airs on Monday nights and is available on iPlayer. It’s pretty chilling stuff. These fraudsters have some seriously clever setups. If you get any dodgy calls, you can report them by texting 7726. Also, Channel 5 runs a more general scams show on Wednesdays on My5. Both are really worth catching. These scammers are skilled, but I can’t help wonder why folks don’t just tell anyone ringing with an Indian accent to basically buzz off?

Yesterday, I got a message saying my account was debited by £698, and I just received the same alert again from 01484736102. Quite worrying!
