Got a dodgy text from some number pretending to be my kid, asking me to save their new contact. I was a bit fed up so I just messaged back, "Sorry love, I’m with the paramedics, your dad passed away all of a sudden." Then I blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Just got a weird text saying "Hi mum, I’ve smashed my phone screen and I’m texting you from a mate's number. Their phone's about to die, so please reply on my new number 07716360595." Feels like one of those scams to me.
