Got a call from someone with an Asian accent trying the old Windows security scare routine. Total waste of time, just a scam as usual.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from Paddington, London, saying he worked in “the technical department”. He told me there were security updates needed for my computer. When I asked which company, he said Norton. I joked and asked if Norton was a computer maker (though I know they do antivirus stuff). After that, he abruptly hung up - probably figured I was joking or just an idiot. Pretty clear it was a scam attempt.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was ringing from “Windows” about some supposed issues with my PC. Told her to find an honest job instead. Same old scam stuff really.
