Had a call from a bloke with a foreign accent tonight, wanted to chat about Tesco shares. I didn’t bother going any further with it.

On the evening of 26/01/18, around 6.20pm, I got a call from a woman who spoke with an American accent that sounded a bit foreign. She started off by using my name, but I didn’t confirm I was the person she was after. She asked about shares in Blacks Leisure, which I know became worthless after JD Sports took over and absorbed the debt. She mentioned an American-Chinese businessman was interested in those shares. Since she had my name, I asked her to tell me the businessman’s name. Instead of hanging up, she put some Cuban-style music on the line. It was pretty good, so I stayed listening for about half an hour. During that time, someone kept checking if the call was still connected, but no one spoke. I just hoped they were getting charged for the call. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a call about Blacks Leisure shares.

Picked up the call and all i could hear was music in the background. Dont know this number at all and can’t seem to find any business related to it. Quite strange really.

Some lady from Gruber & Taylor Co gave me a ring about some business shares. I don´t have any and have never spoken to her before. Pretty random call, if you ask me.
