I got a call from a bloke claiming to be with Hotpoint, asking about how old my washing machine was and then even how old I was. When I asked what the phone call was actually about, he just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from some bloke with an Indian accent saying I owed some place called Black Horse about 1200. He was asking for my bank info, but as soon as I refused, he just started yelling all sorts of abuse down the phone. Proper annoying!

They called me up asking if I wanted a refund, and when I said no nicely, they just started shouting all kinds of awful things at me. It was so rude and nasty! I ended the call immediately!

some guy with an indian accent called me sayin my life insurance with sun life was being modified to reduce payments. funny thing is, i dont even own a life insurance plan.

Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming to be from some credit investigation team in Manchester. Looks like this outfit is flagged on the FEAs warning list. I’d definitely report it to both the FEA and ICO. Best to block the number, it’s a dodgy scam for sure.
