I got a call from a bloke who sounded like he was working out of some overseas call centre, probably India, claiming to be from BT. He said there were complaints about my internet speed dropping on my router. Then he asked if I used my phone for browsing the internet, online shopping, or banking. I told him nah, I just use it for calls. After that, he wanted me to switch to my computer and turn it on so he could "fix" the problem. I told him I didn’t have any internet issues and just ended the call. Classic scam, nothing new and definitely dodgy.
