It's utterly the same as mentioned earlier, and I happen to be with O2 too. . .

It appears that our files suggest you could potentially receive a compensation amounting to £5000 due to a recent incident you were involved in. If you wish to pursue this claim, simply reply with the word CLAIM to this message. Should you wish to opt-out, just send back the message STOP.

We received a call from this number claiming we could claim £50 for an accident we supposedly experienced. The thing is, we've never had any accidents deserving of compensation in our entire lives! I'm beginning to feel anxious since we did reply quite hastily. Also, I had a chat on the phone with Carphone Warehouse as well.

I recently received a message from O2, and it seems to suggest I've never had an accident, which is quite baffling. Also, just to clarify, we didn’t purchase our phone through Carphone Warehouse.

Absolutely the same situation for me-I'm with O2 too, though we initially got our phone from Phones4U.

It appears that this has changed to an orange hue, albeit from a different number.

I've received the same annoying calls too. Why on earth do we need to message them to request it all to end? I've flagged this with O2, and they mentioned it’s a common issue with phones from Carphone Warehouse. Seems a bit like an easy excuse if you ask me. We often get calls where they just hang up, and on the very day we got our iPhone, we were bombarded with calls from insurance scammers trying to fish for our credit card information. Back in the day with landlines, there was the Telephone Preference Service, which allowed callers to be penalised for bothering us. Why isn’t there something similar for mobile phones?

We experienced the same thing this afternoon, just as we did a couple of weeks back. It was precisely the same scenario, and by the way, we are with O2. Quite curious, isn't it?

I've just received the exact same message as mentioned previously. It's really annoying how these scams keep popping up.

I happen to be with O2 and just received a message that was exactly the same, yet I've never been involved in any sort of accident. Plus, we didn't purchase our phone from Carphone Warehouse.

I too received a call from this number today while I was enjoying my new iPhone from Carphone Warehouse. I'm pondering whether to pick up or just let it ring - if I answer, will they know we're here? Seems a bit dodgy, doesn’t it?

I've just received the same message myself! It's really puzzling where these folks are sourcing my number from.

I’ve never been involved in a single accident, so this all feels rather dodgy. Is there such a thing as mobile phone phishing? I’ve had to put up with so many nuisances trying to invade my device recently! It’s utterly ridiculous.

Earlier today, my significant other and I received a call from this same number, and we thought it best to flag it on this site.

Strange coincidence, isn't it? I've never been in a collision either. What on earth is happening here? Are you lot also using O2? It's quite amusing that I'm receiving these messages simultaneously on the same day. What's going on?

I've got a similar situation going on; I've received a message from O2 via Carphone Warehouse. It really feels like O2 has gone and shared my details with some third party!

We received a call from this number claiming we could claim £5000 in compensation for an accident we've supposedly had. The truth is, we've never been involved in any accident deserving of compensation, not in all our years! I'm quite anxious now as we replied to their text quite swiftly. I also had a chat with Carphone Warehouse about it.
