Got a message saying "Hi Dad" just like some others here. I didn’t reply, just blocked and marked it as scam.

So I got a text saying "Hi dad, my new number is x." I rang it but no luck, no answer. Tried a couple more times, ended up going to voicemail every time. Gave it three tries and still nothing. Definitely a SCAM. Checked the reviews on here and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call saying Hi Dad, from a new number, sounded a bit off so I just blocked it straight away.

Just like what others have mentioned, i got a text saying "hi dad new number". So i went ahead and blocked the number and reported it straight away.

Got a weird text from +44 7751 642106 saying ‘Hi Dad, my nw no x’. None of my kids usually send messages like that so I reckon it’s dodgy and have blocked the number straight away. Definitely seems like a scam to me.
