1 yearI got a message from someone claiming to be my son, saying he’d changed his phone number. They kept the chat going, asking how I was and what I was up to, trying to sound casual. Then they said they needed £1710 until Friday because of a bill, and mentioned they couldn’t get into their banking app due to the new number. They asked if I could send the money to a certain sort code and account. That’s when I twigged it was a scam and told them no. They messaged again asking why, so I called them out as a scammer. Haven’t heard a peep since. Watch out for this one!1 yearSomething felt weird when my daughter suddenly started actin all sweet to me.
