didnt say who he was so i didnt give my name, then he called me a stupid b**** and just hung up. sounded like he was from abroad or summat.

Some bloke rang me up claiming he had info about my debts and said he was from cab. I’m pretty sure cab don’t do cold calls and I haven’t dealt with them at all. Seemed a bit fishy to me.

I got a call from someone with an African accent claiming to be from Universal Credit. They offered to assist me with my debts, but when I told them I’m not on Universal Credit, they just dropped the call.

Whenever I get calls like that, I just pick up and let the call sit there until they start talking. Once they do, I politely tell them to buzz off and then block the number straight away.

Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were from the cab company, offering to sort out my debts or something daft like that. I don’t reckon the cab lot are that desperate for business if they’re ringing up customers like this. Totally blocked the number straight away.

I've had loads of missed calls from this number while I’m working and can't pick up. Thankfully, I stumbled upon this website to check what it's about. I’ve now blocked the caller so they can't bother me anymore. Really thankful for this site!

Someone called saying they were from Citizens Advice and claimed I owed money. I’m pretty sure Citizens Advice doesn’t just ring people out of the blue like that. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
