Received the same message earlier today (and not for the first time, mind you). A call from a personal number, repeating the exact line - "You may be eligible to claim for an accident you had in the last 18 months." We've opted to ignore it altogether, as responding could merely validate the number and potentially rack up charges. I plan to contact our provider to have them put a stop to this pesky number.

I received a remarkably similar text twice earlier today, just minutes apart, but from a different mobile number - +447591232175. As someone else pointed out, we won't be responding to this message, as it might signal to third parties that our number is in use. Quite concerning!
