Got a message from someone claiming to be my mum, who actually has dementia and doesn't even own a mobile, saying this was her new number. Felt a bit off.

Got a call from someone saying they were BT and warning of unusual internet stuff on our line. The weird part is, our broadband is on a different number and we don’t even have BT as our provider!! The recorded message told me to hit 1 to speak with an advisor. Definitely a dodgy scam, watch out!
