This number rang me earlier today, and an Asian woman answered claiming to be from Amazon. She said there was a £700 charge on my account. The call was really scratchy and difficult to make out. When I asked if they could cancel the transaction, obviously if they were really Amazon, they just cut the call! I later checked my bank account and thankfully there was no such payment. Just a heads up to others, be careful and don’t fall for this sort of thing.
