This morning I got a ring from this number, and the person on the other end said they were from Amazon. They even called me by my last name and asked if I’d bought an iPhone through my Amazon account, which I definitely hadn’t. Then they told me I had to verify it using a code they’d just sent in a text. They made me stay on the phone and asked me to tap on the code. Luckily, I knew it was a scam, so I didn’t touch anything. I just deleted the message, ended the call, and went ahead and blocked the number straight away!
