So I got a text on my mobile asking for my home address and I stupidly gave it. Later on, I found out this was part of a recent scam going around in Switzerland. Honestly, after sharing my address, I started feeling really anxious and stressed. Does anyone know what steps I should take now?

I got a message saying Royal Mail couldn’t deliver a parcel, but it’s a scam. The link was something like https\\royalmaill.website, with Royal Mail spelled with two l’s. Don’t click it! It’s definitely fake. Just delete the message and report it if you can.

Got a text saying my package is waiting at some warehouse but they need me to finish my address. I followed the link, which took me to estateba.com/address, and the site looked almost exactly like the Royal Mail's - had all those address fields and everything. Still, I didn’t fill any details in because it felt off. My phone flagged the number as maybe spam too. I'm expecting a small delivery but haven’t had any proper dispatch email from the sender, which makes me doubt it’s legit. I’m calling it sketchy just to be safe!

Just like I mentioned before, this site really seems dodgy to me. They’ve got Royal Mail written wrong, like “royalmaill” with an extra L at the end. Definitely don’t bother clicking the link - I haven’t and won’t.

Someone rang saying they were from Royal Mail, claiming my delivery couldn't go ahead due to an incomplete address. Not sure if it was genuine or a scam. I've got a package on its way, but I don't even know if Royal Mail is the one sending it.
