Scam almost got my mum, they sent a text about a argos purchase, fourtantly stopped her before she gave away anything important. Stay safe.

Absolute SCAM alert... Got a text about a dodgy Argos purchase on my NatWest account asking if it was me, and I had to reply 'Y' or 'N'. Just for the giggles, I sent back 'N'. Not long after, I got a call from a bloke saying he was 'John from NatWest'. He ran through the same story and said he needed to verify my ID, asking for my postcode. When I said 'No', he hung up straight away. Bit of a shame really, I had some time to kill and was gonna mess about on the call to waste his time and maybe save someone else from falling for it!
