2 yearsAbsolutely a total scam! They claimed to have secured £2,550 in compensation for me regarding bank PPI, plus a cheeky £1,550 in interest. When I inquired about which bank they represented, I named "Bank of Paris"-a fictional entity, mind you. It was hilarious that they didn’t catch on! They then proceeded to provide me with a reference and an ID number, insisting they wouldn't request my banking or card details. Apparently, the money was apparently sitting in a "wallet"? Then I was handed over to another chap, who sounded Asian, and he requested the ID and reference numbers. I deliberately gave him the wrong ones, which left him a bit flustered. He then wanted my phone number to verify the details. How odd! Following that, he generated yet more ID and reference numbers which were entirely different again. He had the audacity to suggest I wasn't particularly savvy with technology and offered to assist me in accessing this wallet. He then asked me to switch my phone to loudspeaker-utterly baffling! He instructed me to download an app called AnyDesk from the Play Store, which allows remote access to my device-essentially a ploy to pilfer my banking info, personal identity, and passwords. These utter despicable creatures need to be put a stop to!
