Got a text claiming it was Hermes saying they'd tried to drop off a parcel and asking me to click a link to sort out a re-delivery. Reckon the number’s been faked and is linked to loads of scams. Watch out for this one, it’s dodgy.

Got two messages supposedly from Hermes but I hadn’t ordered anything nor was I expecting a delivery. Pretty fishy if you ask me!

I couldn’t find any reviews for this exact number anywhere else online, though I did see that numbers kinda like it have been flagged as debt collector calls. Has anyone dealt with this specific one before? I tried searching using different variations of the number but no luck at all. Looks like I’m not alone in looking it up though, since it’s popped up on a few sites... So yeah, has anyone got any clue who this might be?

Somebody rang me saying they were from First Call, asking about a car crash I had over two years back. They said they were working with my insurance firm, trying to get my thoughts on a courtesy car and all that, which seemed fishy since I never got one. When I asked them to tell me the name of my insurer, they suddenly couldn’t. Yeah right, like they wouldn’t know the company they’re supposedly calling for. I ended the call there. Sounds like data fishing or a scam to me.

They told me my home was being watched and that I was part of some legal trouble. At first it really freaked me out, but after I looked it up online, I found out it’s probably just a scam. Don’t bother ringing the number they want you to call back. I’ve already reported it to HMRC.
