I received a text from the Post Office informing me that their driver, Simon, attempted to drop off a parcel but no one was in. However, we were all at home and weren’t even anticipating a delivery! They’ve sent a link for rescheduling, but it seems unnecessary since we weren’t advised of any incoming packages.

If it were indeed the post office, they would likely have provided you with an email containing a link or left a note detailing the parcel’s whereabouts. Alternatively, they might have delivered it to a nearby neighbour, and on that note, you would find all the necessary information plainly stated.

I received a notification indicating that a package couldn't be delivered. Apparently, Simon from the post office claimed there was no one home, but I was actually here the entire day! I now need to click a link to arrange for a re-delivery.
