Someone called claiming to be from Barclays credit card team about a payment of £138 that needed confirming by calling 03333398016 and entering code 706126. We never made that purchase. After getting in touch with our card provider, it turned out there was another fake charge for £81 on our card too. They ended up cancelling our card straight away. We did ring the 033 number as they seemed really convincing at first, even kept us on hold while they checked our account details, but it dragged on and seemed suspicious, so we ended the call.
