I picked up and there was just silence on the other end - sounds like one of those dodgy scam calls.

This number called me earlier. Some bloke said he was "with the authorities" and hinted I was involved in some dodgy business. When I shut him down, he got all aggressive and left a voicemail saying I’d messed up and that “it wouldn't just disappear.”

If there was anything wrong, which there isn’t, I’d expect the proper authorities to contact me in writing.

My advice? Just tell them that and hang up straight away.

I got a call from someone saying they were with the Consumer Rights Directive in Basildon, and they also said they were part of a Government-supported group. Like always, they tried to tell me my Timeshate cancellation wasn't valid and threatened me with legal trouble. Total nonsense as per usual! The caller was pretty forceful and pushy, really annoyed me. I've put in a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service, but I’m not holding my breath that it'll make any difference.

Got a call from some debt collector about Club la Costa maintenance fees, but I don’t even have an account with them. I was so annoyed I just ended the call straight away.
