They were trying to get me to hand over money on the phone. Seriously, don’t fall for this. Always double-check with the actual company first. If you really owed them, they’d have sent a letter before chasing payment through debt collectors.

Honestly, these lot are a nightmare! They call up claiming you owe money for some timeshare, but it's all just a scam. They try to sound clever, saying they know loads of people got scam calls recently, then they hit you with all the usual nonsense about court orders and whatnot. Proper dodgy! I've had enough and blocked their number straight away. Shut them down for good!

Got a call from someone named "David Montgomry" saying he was with Consumer Protection in Birmingham. He said he could help us fight off a Timeshare debt collector from Hilton, linked to an old, cancelled Diamond Timeshare contract. After that, I realised it was best to say no to any of his so-called 'help'.

I got a call claiming to be from Halifax consumer group. I've had calls before from numbers that were close saying I owed cash to some timeshare company for unpaid maintenance fees on a timeshare I left ages ago like 3 years back.
