I never answer calls from numbers I don't recognise and just block them straight away. When I blocked this one, another almost identical number rang me right after. Pretty obvious it's a scam.

This number keeps ringing me but never leaves a message, and I usually dont pick up unknown callers. Ive also had a call from a very similar number which I think is the same scam other folks have mentioned. Ive gone ahead and blocked them both now.

I honestly messed up by picking up the phone without first checking who was calling, otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered. I put my info in on a couple of sites recently (my builder and quotatis) for some repairs. I guess that’s how they got my details - name, number, email, address - and knew exactly what I wanted fixed. They said someone would ring me later to sort out a quote. But after reading all the bad reviews about this number, I don’t trust them at all now and won’t be answering any more calls, or from those two sites where I reckon they got my contact info from.

Got calls from this number over the last two days, but looks like they keep switching up the last three digits - I’ve had quite a few from 07722 123### like 07722 123514 and so on. I picked up once and all I got was silence before they hung up. Feels like one of those dodgy boiler room scams using the same old stolen number from somewhere shady online. Probably hoping we’ll get fed up and spill the info they’re after... Haha!

Seriously? What’s the point? Got two calls from this number today. Picked up the second, but they just hung up. After seeing what others have said, I’m gonna block it. Don’t they have something better to be doing?

I just yelled "can you hear me" before hanging up - they also rang me from 07722 123406 and 108.

This number rang me and it seemed dodgy so I just let it go to voicemail, but there wasn’t one. I rang back using a blocked number and after some tunes a bloke picked up. I mentioned I had a missed call from them and he claimed to be a mechanic or something, saying he was returning my call which was rubbish because I never dialled them before. He wouldn’t answer any more questions and then hung up. When I tried calling back later, it was just music and a recorded message about someone getting back to me, then nothing.

Been getting calls from a number like this, I just let it ring and then BLOCK. Honestly, I reckon everyone should do that. These companies and folk really ought to have their mobiles taken off them - they need to sort their lives out.

kind of legit - i registered for a quote on a new boiler/heat pump and soon after, the calls began. they have my email but never bother to leave a voicemail, they just ring non-stop. if they left a message that seemed worth my time, i’d chance a callback. got about half a dozen calls from this number and others with similar last digits yesterday, and another 3 already today.

got a call from this number again. you'd assume after not picking up a single time they’d realise no one wants to answer and stop bothering. either they’re really persistent or just plain daft.

in the last day, i got two phone calls with the same first 8 numbers but a different last 3 digits. my phone was on silent so i didnt hear it ring; not that i would have picked up anyway. if they really needed to reach me, they’d just send a text.
