Got a call from someone claiming to be the police, speaking with a Scottish lilt. They asked if I ever use a debit card, to which I replied sometimes. Then they said there was an attempt to use my card around Princes Street in Edinburgh. I asked for more details about which card they meant, and they said it was the one my pension goes into. I then asked which bank it was, and they named a Scottish bank I’ve never had an account with. So, I just ended the call.
