I never enrolled for any service like this, and I've reached out to friends and family to find out if perhaps one of them signed me up, but no one has a clue. I genuinely don’t understand how our number ended up in their hands, but this whole situation feels rather suspicious to us.

We received the exact same message and decided to give them a call. They mentioned that we’d need to pay a fee of ten quid via credit card to kick things off. We shared the necessary details they requested, and now we're just hanging tight for their response. The chap we spoke to had a lovely African accent and was incredibly courteous, I must say!

Received a rather dubious text at 16:19 on 19th August 2009. It read: "FREEMSG: Our records suggest you could be eligible for £3750 related to an accident you experienced. To claim this for nothing, simply reply AID to this message. If you wish to discontinue, text STOP." The number in question was +447719385487. We've not subscribed to any such service and have checked with our mates and relatives to figure out if any of them signed us up for this, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. We can't fathom how these people came by our number, but everything about this feels highly suspicious.

We received the exact same message, so I decided to give them a ring. They mentioned that I needed to pay a £10 fee on my credit card to initiate the process. I've provided all the information they requested and now I'm just waiting to hear back from them. The gentleman I spoke to, who had an African accent, was quite courteous and extremely helpful.
