07719 109 513 - Honestly, don’t bother ringing this number back. Some bloke named 'James' called me, sounded like he was from one of those call centres in India. He was going on about me winning a £1,000 Barclays voucher and asked me to confirm an address I haven’t lived at for like 15 years. Then he switched to talking about energy suppliers before trying to get me to do a survey so they could send me the voucher. Don’t really know why I even stayed on the line - probably just bored and wanted to mess with him a bit.

Typical insurance con. I kept explaining I live in a tiny flat with no postcode, but they just cut the call! It really annoys me when these scammers look down on folks like me living in shoeboxes. I’m thinking of reporting them to the Indian regulators because it feels like they’ve got a bias against shoebox residents. (If you care, I’m in Clark’s, black brogues, size 9).

I told him I ain’t got any debts, after a moment of silence he just went sorry and I ended the call. Totally a scam. Citizens Advice wouldn't ring you on a mobile like that, and they wouldn’t bring up debt unless you’ve set up the call or rang them yourself.

Got a call today from 07719109513 saying they were from Barclays and offering £200 in gift cards? They didn’t explain why I’d get the vouchers, just asked me to verify my address and postcode. I then asked why Barclays would be ringing me from a mobile rather than a proper bank number, and bam - call ended straight away! Bit suspicious if you ask me 😞

This number rang me up tonight saying they were from Citizens Advice about some credit card debt. I know my finances inside out and told them their info was completely off, asked to be taken off their list. Then she rang back and got really aggressive, so I hung up. She didn’t stop calling either, kept ringing so quickly that I couldn’t even block the number in time. I’ve finally blocked it now but honestly, this whole thing has left me feeling really upset and anxious. Please report or block this number - these callers are awful!

Got a call from 07719109513 at about 16:45. A lady with an Indian accent said she was from Lifestyle Choices. She told me I’d won £1000 in vouchers and a MacBook. She already knew my full name, address, and age. Then she started asking about my life insurance - who with and how much I pay. Also asked when my home insurance is up for renewal. When I asked how she had all that info, she said it was from Lifestyle Choices, some company I supposedly entered a competition with. Thing is, I never entered anything or gave out my details at all.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Citizens Advice. Then they started talking about my debts and handed me over to a debt advisor. The legal dept company they mentioned wanted to take 40% of my payments, which is like paying as much or even more than the interest on the loan every month. These callers seem to be working for UK firms and it’s a complete scam. You'd think you’re getting help to pay off debts quicker, but really you’re just making things worse. Be careful!

To make sure you don’t get tricked and to keep your rights safe, always check out any debt collector before paying up. It’s possible the debt is legit. Get the company's name and postal address and write to them asking for evidence of the debt. If they don’t provide proof or if what they send isn’t convincing, they’re not allowed to keep getting in touch with you.

Got a call today from someone claiming to be from Royal London Bank, telling me I’d won a Mac and £10,000. They said they’d post a cheque over tomorrow. They even had my address right, but all I had to do was answer two quick questions. Weirdly, the background noise kept cutting out. The bloke told me to stop chatting and just say yes or no, nothing more. The questions were about life insurance. Definitely a scam, no doubt about it.

Dont ever pay up to a collection agency if you have no clue who they are. Call their bluff by saying you will take actions they cant actually do, or that you'll report them as government agents. Real debt collectors usually avoid these dodgy tactics since they dont want to risk getting in trouble with the law and losing their licence. But scammers couldnt care less about the rules when chasing money.

Got a call from some guy with an Asian accent saying he was from citizens advice. He tried to explain some government programme that could help with debts. Apparently, they do have a website, though it's really poor quality, and a company contact number which I actually looked up to confirm. This bloke said I’d won a £500 voucher and tried to check my postcode - funny enough, he used my old postcode. Then he began asking about my electricity and gas providers, saying the voucher could be used to pay bills or for shopping. I told him I wasn’t buying it and just ended the call. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call saying I'd won a £500 Lifestyle voucher - seemed off because they knew my full name and where I live. Told them it sounded fishy since if it was genuine, why ring me on a mobile? Asked to be removed from their list and immediately put a block on the number.

Got a call saying I'd won some £1000 voucher from Barclays, and they wanted me to do a survey first. I told them I'd do the survey only after I got the prize, but then the woman just dropped the call. Next time, I'm thinkin of replying with "foxtrot Oscar" straight away!

Saw a missed call from this number earlier. I usually look up strange numbers here before calling back. Looks like this one’s going straight onto my block list as well.

I got a call claiming I'd won £100 and a new Apple iPhone. The person used my full name and even mentioned the address I lived at a couple years back. The moment I told them I'd moved since then, they just cut me off.

Got a call from this number earlier, the lady on the line had an Asian accent and she actually knew my first name. When I asked her to take me off their list, she just hung up straight away. Bit odd if you ask me.

Today I got a ring from this number saying I’d won £1000, supposedly picked at random by a bank. They said the money would arrive in a couple of days! I had to answer a few questions about who I use for my gas, home insurance, and life insurance, and how much I pay monthly. That’s all they asked. Feels dodgy to me, like a scam or some kind of load of rubbish? They already had loads of my details too, which made me a bit uneasy!

I’m pretty wary of calls from unknown numbers so I dont usually pick up. Decided to plug this one into Truecaller and it literally said... rubbish!! So yeah, straight to block from me!

Picked up and heard it was one of those cold calls. After a bit, someone with an asian accent answered, so I just ended the call.
