I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Domestic and General, saying my washing machine warranty had run out. She actually knew my name and even my address! When I asked which washing machine she meant, she said the Samsung. I told her I don't own a Samsung at all, and then she just ended the call.

Got a call saying I owed money, they said they were from Citizen's Advice. I ended the call, but they called back straight away asking why I had disconnected. I wouldn't trust this number, feels dodgy.

Got a call from this number, some bloke was asking for someone who ain't even here! I asked again who he was after, and then they just hung up on me. Really frustrating, this kind of thing shouldn't be happening!

Had no idea who was ringing me. Like some others here, I didn’t pick up because it said debt collection and instantly thought it was dodgy. We all need to join forces to put an end to these con artists. After the election, write to your MP and push for laws that shut down the scams using fake caller ID tricks.

I got a call from this number and told them I didn’t want anything to do with citizens advice. The guy got really aggressive, started shouting threats about coming to my house and hurting me and my kids, and kept using awful language. I’ve already reported it to the police.
