I got a text saying “Your new Monzo debit card has been dispatched to your latest address. If you didn’t request it, visit: monzo-bank-card.com.” Out of curiosity, I checked the site on a different device just to be safe. The page just showed a login screen titled “Monza .” asking for username and password - that was it. Seems like if someone with a Monza account entered their info there, the fraudsters could grab their login and get into their account. Pretty dodgy setup for trying to scam people.

I didn’t click the link it came with, and honestly, I’d warn everyone else against doing that. Heard from someone else that link just asks for your account login and password. Got a card from Monzo sent to my place but I dont even use Monzo. Seems like a scam or mix-up. If you ever get weird messages like that you can just forward them for free to 7726, which is their fraud or spam team, and they’ll block those numbers. Saves you a lot of hassle!

Donna Smith and Phillip Knight from Swinton are a right couple of scammers. They go around nicking handbags off elderly folks. Phillip’s always off his head on booze and drugs, and Donna’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
