Seeing as I didn’t know the number, I just let it ring. With all the dodgy calls going around these days, I figure it’s safer not to pick up when the number’s unfamiliar.

I'm the owner of this number, but I'm not the one making those calls. I've informed O2 about it, but they say there's nothing they can do. It seems like someone has spoofed my number and is using it to disguise their calls.

Sounds like one of those dodgy calls trying to catch you out about taxes or insurance stuff. Definitely feels a bit scammy to me.
