⚠️ Got a message from this number saying my delivery was late and to follow a link called “post office-delayed.com”. Instead of clicking, I typed it out manually and ended up on a pretty sketchy site asking for my address, full name and postcode. I just made up some random info, but then it said there was a parcel for me waiting. Then it asked for my date of birth and phone number! I stopped right there, obviously. Just wanted to share in case it’s useful to someone. Got a message at 7:29pm saying: “PostOffice: We attempted to leave your parcel but nobody was home, you can pick another date here: https://postoffice-driver-late.com” Don’t bother clicking the link, it’s totally dodgy and definitely scammers. Received a suspicious call claiming to be from the post office, so I decided to look up their website info at https://ipinfo.info/html/ip_checker.php. Here’s what came up: The domain is local-driver-missed.com and it’s a .com site. The IP address linked to it is 179.43.177.131, which is traced back to Zurich in Switzerland. Interestingly, there was no reverse DNS record found. Seems dodgy to me, definitely a scam to watch out for!
