Got a text supposedly from the NHS saying: ‘NHS alert: A person close to you has caught omicron, order your free test kit now at (redacted).’ I don’t even use the NHS test and trace app and haven’t really left the house in a fortnight. Definitely a scam.

Is this some kinda scam? I keep hearing about omicron and got a call about it just now, felt dodgy to me. Anyone else got calls like this? Feels like a typical trick to me.

I got a message pretending to be from the NHS telling me to click on a link to get a test kit. Obviously, it looked dodgy and I knew it wasn’t legit. Total scam trying to trick people like that.

Totally bogus. Don’t go near that link. I haven’t even got the track n trace app installed. Some message popping up from the NHS saying I was close to someone with Omicron and to grab a free test kit from their site... just ignore it!
