Just got one of those robocalls on my phone pretending to be from my bank. The message said something like: “We’ve blocked a transaction of £780 from your account, reference number 3478-something. If it’s legit, press 1. If not, press 2 to talk to an advisor.” Honestly, it felt fishy from the start. This is clearly a scam. The whole point is to scare folks into pressing 2, hoping they’ll end up chatting with someone pretending to be the bank but really trying to grab your account info and drain your cash. Be careful out there!
