I received a call claiming to be from TSB regarding PPI. They chatted for a bit, then requested my email address. When I questioned them about it, they suddenly cut off the conversation. Oddly enough, the phone went silent for a few minutes following the call.

This chap had the audacity to act like he was calling from Gladstone Brooks. He had my personal information down to my old address and seemed well-informed about my PPI claim. I fell for it and, thinking he was genuine, I said I'd like the funds transferred into my bank account. He even provided me with a reference number. What a numpty I was!
