Got a call saying I’d supposedly applied for a loan and they wanted me to confirm it so they could start processing. Total scam, definitely blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent, saying my loan got approved. I asked her what loan she meant coz I never applied for anything! Then she kept pushing if I wanted to move forward with it. I said no, and told her to never ring me again, then she just hung up. Definitely a scam, just be careful!

About 35 minutes ago, I got a call from this number. A guy with an Indian accent tried to mumble some company name I couldn’t quite make out, then went on about checking my personal info and claiming I owed money. I cut him off pretty sharp, told him straight up to "buzz off, you fraud!" and he hung up straight away.

About 10 minutes back I got a call from this number, and luckily I have this app called syncme which flagged it as a scammer before I picked up. I decided to look up the number online and it brought me here. After seeing all your posts about the same number, I texted them saying I've seen their numbers everywhere online and warned I'll report them to the police if they ring again or use any other numbers to bother me.

Got loads of calls saying my credit was blocked, then another number rang me with the same thing. When I asked where they were calling from, they just hung up. So annoying.

Got a call from some Indian call centre claiming to be from the credit investigation team about some debts I supposedly owe. I played it up all shocked like "oh nooo!" and the next thing, they just hung up on me! Must've picked up on my sarcasm or something.

I got called by 07704961428, and some woman on the line told me a loan I supposedly applied for six months ago has been accepted just in time for Christmas, with zero interest on amounts up to £5k. Thing is, the details she gave were from an old address and an email I used with TalkTalk a couple of years back. When I asked to pull the application, she told me to ring her manager on 09131240890 - and yes, that’s a pricey number. She also warned if I didn’t get in touch to cancel, I’d be stuck with an admin charge. Total scammers.

What a bunch of scammers! They were really aggressive, even threatening to involve the police over some tax thing. I’ve blocked them loads of times, but they just keep ringing me back. Proper nightmare!

Got a call from a guy claiming he was with some government department and could clear my debts. I told him it sounded fishy, and suddenly the tone changed. I pressed him on it, and he said he’d switched his headset because he wasn’t hearing me right - but it was obvious it was someone else on the phone. He really wanted to hang up fast after that. Just a heads up, if it sounds like a magic fix, chances are it’s just a con!

This number rang me a few times - on the 15th, 17th, and again on the 20th of December. The person on the other end spoke with an Indian accent, just like what others have said here. I've already tried putting the number on my block list, but it keeps coming through.
