My phone buzzed, rang just a couple seconds, then cut off before I even got a chance to pick up.

Somebody rang my mum pretending to be from her bank and asked her which bank she used and her full name, saying there was suspicious activity on her account. Just as she was about to give out more details, I arrived and she quickly ended the call. An hour later, I phoned the number back and it was definitely not from NatWest. I even confronted the woman, asking if she was from the bank, and she admitted she wasn't before hanging up!
