This number appears to be quite dodgy. Just yesterday, while I was picking up a delivery, I received a call from someone claiming to be from Uber Eats. They attempted to persuade me to cancel my order, promising me a refund of £8. A few hours later, I got another call from a withheld number. The caller wanted to know if I had received the £8, which I hadn’t. They then requested a confirmation code to supposedly credit the £8 to my Uber account. To make matters worse, my Uber account seems to have vanished entirely, and I had a balance of around £170 lingering in there for the last three days. If anyone has any idea on how I can restore my Uber account, I’d really appreciate your advice!
