Over the past three weeks, this number has rung me a few times but I kept missing the calls. I think they might have tried contacting me even earlier because one time I picked up and all I got was a long period of silence. I jotted down the number back then but never really looked into it afterwards.

I got a call from this same number, so I tried ringing it back, but there was complete silence on the other end. Really odd behaviour!

This number keeps ringing my landline but when I try 1471 to check it, it says the number isn’t available. When I picked up, there was a long silence and I kept saying hello before they just hung up. Also, on 27th April at 12:48pm and again on 28th at 12:41pm, I got calls from 0121 732 9971, which seems connected. I tried calling both back but instead of ringing, I only got music playing right away. I really hope calling that 0121 number (I thought it was from Birmingham) won’t end up costing me a fortune on my phone bill.

Today this number rang me up and the person on the other end had a really strong accent that wasn't English. He claimed to be from some accident helpline and said someone using my number had been in a crash. I asked him to prove who he really was and he said his name was "Superman," but kept saying he was from the accident helpline. Of course, I just ended the call straight away!

I heard a robotic voice but nothing for a bit, so I went ahead and said hello once more. Then out of nowhere it just said goodbye? Guess I’m one of the lucky ones or what!

I got calls from this number on two consecutive evenings. The person on the other end was speaking in very poor English.

This number rang me on my home phone today and there was nothing but silence at first. I kept saying hello a couple of times, then a man with a really scratchy voice, he didn't sound English, said something about the accident helpline. I just ended the call straight away. It's been bothering me for days, calling at all sorts of times. Funny thing is, my number's ex-directory!

Got a call on my home phone, thought it was a client so rang back, but the line just went silent.

This number rang me just now, sounded like it was coming from overseas with a bit of a lag. The person asked if I'd been in an accident. Since my landline isn’t listed, I joked that maybe THEY might have an accident if my number wasn’t taken off whatever list they’re using.

Got a call from this number the other day, some bloke claiming someone here had a car crash last year. Bit odd it came from a phone, not a landline, and his English was pretty poor with terrible signal. I was suspicious it was a scam and figured he was just trying to keep me talking.

my phone rang loads on my landline which is odd since hardly anyone knows it. when i tried to call back, it said the number wasn’t valid. i’ve only recently put my number on a few online forms so i reckon it’s probably some spam caller.

I received a ring on my home phone from this number. I said hello a couple of times but there was no reply and suddenly the call just dropped. So, I tried calling back from my mobile but the number wouldn’t even come up as valid! Really confusing... why bother ringing if you’re just gonna hang up? Seriously, what’s the deal??
