there’s this trader scammer pretending to be from primeqx[###], really stubborn too. They don’t even care about the warnings on facebook trying to block these pests. I messed around with them for half an hour before edward just gave up and actually cursed us with covid, classy guy huh? Keep an eye out for the video i’ll upload on youtube shortly ;-)

Got a call from an Asian guy with a really polite tone but kinda hard to catch what he was saying. There was a bunch of noise in the background like people talking all at once. He mentioned something about a trading dept, sounded maybe like "goverment" but I couldn’t really tell. Then he asked if I could be put through to the commercial dept. I just said "No thanks, bye" and hung up. Definitely seemed like one of those annoying sales or scam calls.

I just let it ring out and there was no voicemail, but honestly, it feels like one of those government scams. Mainly because of two things: first, what everyone else said here, and second, right before this, I had a call from 020 3167 1336 which did leave a message and turned out to be an HMRC scam. Seems fishy to me!

Someone rang me with a really deep African voice, quite dark toned if you ask me, but after just a few seconds of talking, they ended the call. I have no clue who it was.

My phone buzzed with a call from an unknown number, so I answered. The voice on the other end was quite harsh and kept asking for some person I’d never heard of. Felt pretty obvious they were just guessing random numbers. I blocked them straight away. Tried calling back and the call didn’t even connect, which only confirmed it was a scam. Honestly, what’s the UK watchdog actually doing to stop these spoof calls? Seems like they’re not strict enough on telecom companies at all. Feels like they’re turning a blind eye.

I got a call on 16/03 from someone who sounded Indian, like it was one of those busy, noisy call centres. He was trying to sell me financial advice and kept asking if he could put me through to another team for more info. I lost interest pretty quick and just ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call earlier from someone who wouldn’t say which company he was with but kept insisting he needed five minutes of my time. When I asked where he was calling from, he said "Salsbury, England" but quickly added that he wasn’t trying to sell anything. I told him to take my number off his list and he suddenly got quite cheeky, just kept pushing for those 5 minutes. I told him I was busy working and not interested then asked again to be taken off his database, after that he just hung up on me. Proper rude, honestly.
