7 yearsGot a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming to be from an internet security company. She told me my IP had been compromised and there was suspicious stuff going on with my connection. I told her I'd rather check with my internet provider first, but she kept pushing that she was the one to fix it because it was a serious security issue. I repeated that I'd call my provider, then she just suddenly ended the call.ISP7 yearsGot two missed calls in half an hour earlier, and after seeing what others said, I'm pretty sure it was the same dodgy lot. Had calls like this before from scammers alike.7 yearsHere we go again. Like, what kind of question is that? If I already knew he was calling to scam me, I wouldn't have picked up in the first place. Then he went on about my IP being hacked and strangers using my internet. I wasn’t very polite when I told him to shove off.BT7 yearsIn just two days, I got called three separate times. Checked this site out and ended up blocking the numbers.7 yearsGot a call from someone saying they were with BT trying to boost my internet speed.
