The phone kept buzzing nonstop and when I finally picked up, some bloke called Brad from UK Savers Club was on the line. I told him it wasn’t the right number, but he got really loud, yelling back 'No, this is definitely the correct number!' then went on to say my address. Really unpleasant chat, so I just muted the phone after that!

Got a call from 07598950165 on 8th October 2016 at around half past 3 in the afternoon. I told the bloke he'd reached a premium rate chat line and that charges would be applied, he quickly hung up after that! Absolute muppets, they are. Next time, I’m thinking of asking if they’re coming to pick up the rotting corpse I just stumbled across and rang the cops about? Or maybe if they’re ringing from the funeral parlour? Or even if they’ve already managed to sneak the body out of the country? Then I’ll throw in a, “Oh dear! Sorry, thought you were someone else. Silly me!” Brilliant!

Got a call from 07598950165 on 8th October 2016 at around 3.30pm. I told the bloke he was ringing a premium chat line and would have to pay up for the call. He quickly hung up after that! Proper bunch of muppets, honestly. Next time, I’m thinking of telling them I’m ringing about a rotting corpse I found and have already informed the coppers. Or maybe ask if they’re calling from the army surplus shop, or if they’ve managed to sneak the body out of the country yet. Then just say, “Oh sorry, wrong person! Bloody hell!”

Some bloke called claiming to be from this Savers Club, but his English was shockingly bad. He said he had a few questions to ask me real quick, like it wouldn't take any time at all. I just ended up hanging up on him - honestly, that’s the best way to handle calls like that. Thinking about buying a dog whistle just to block these annoying nuisance calls for good.

Not too long ago I had to block a different mobile number from these folks. I told them straight up to take me off their call list as I’m not interested. Then the bloke says he’s not trying to sell me anything. I told him I’ve already blocked one of their numbers and they really need to respect my choice and stop ringing me. Before I could finish, he just hung up on me.

Rogue callers again!!! They've been ringing non stop, claiming I missed their call because I was 'busy'. What a joke! Then they come up with this "savers club" rubbish. Why on earth would they cold call me about saving money? Who even are these idiots? They should really be tracked down and slapped with a hefty fine or even better, jailed. Someone please crack down on these scammers once and for all!

This number, 07598950165, was trying to reach me, but luckily I've got this call-blocking thing called BT Guardian. Since it didn’t know the number, it just blocked it straight away! It’s brilliant because my phone doesn’t actually ring, so I’m not bothered at all. I usually check later to see how many dodgy calls got stopped - it's oddly satisfying! Honestly, I wouldn’t switch back to a normal phone for anything. It doesn’t cost much more than a regular one, and for me, it’s totally worth it!

Had a bloke ring me up this afternoon, sounded foreign, knew my name and address but totally botched the postcode. I wouldn’t give him any info and just ended the call. Then, a few hours later, he tried again on my husband, who just shouted “No! No! No!” and cut him off. To my surprise, he rang yet again this evening claiming he’s sorted my postcode now. We just hung up straightaway. Proper persistent geezer. Has anyone else come across this “savers club” thing?
