Saw I'd missed two calls from this number, so I looked it up and came across this site. I saved it in my contacts under "scam". When they rang back, I picked up and said “Police fraud dept.”, they hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the council about an outstanding debt, but when I questioned if the council normally rings up out of the blue like that, they just got flustered and ended up hanging up. Total scam, I’m blocking that number straight away.

A bloke with a really dodgy English, not sounding local at all; somehow he knew my name. Claimed he was calling from the Citizens Advice Bureau and asked if I owed any money. When I told him no, he just hung up. How on earth do they get hold of phone numbers with names attached?

Some bloke called saying I owed money, said he got my number from Citizen Advice. When I told him I had his number too and was signed up with the TPS, and that I was gonna report him, he said wait a minute. Then he threatened to ring the police, and I could hear a weird buzzing noise in the back. I just ended the call.

Got a call from an Asian bloke who somehow already knew my surname. Told him I wasn’t interested and he just goes “why? You’re gonna be my future missus, babe. Got your number from your boyfriend.” I told him straight up I wasn’t having it and that I was putting him on speaker in my office so my co-workers could listen in. He didn’t hang about after that and just cut the call. Blocked him immediately!

Got a call from a woman named Sharon, sounded like an Indian accent and I'm pretty sure that name was made up. She claimed to be from some fake citizen advice agency saying I owed money. I told her that wasn't right and asked how they got my details. She just said never mind and then ended the call.

Got a call from an asian guy who actually knew my name - bit creepy especially after seeing all these posts, so i just blocked the number.

Got a call from someone with an Indian or Pakistani accent, terrible line quality. They claimed I had some debts unpaid. I’m pretty sure I don’t owe anything to the takeaway, but I’ll double-check just in case. Oddly enough, they knew my name and address, which is a bit worrying - how did they get that info? Blocked the number straight away. If they start getting rude or threatening, just mess about with them a bit.

07594 572100 called me, some bloke with an accent chatting about debts and loans. Definite scam. I asked him to name what companies supposedly gave me these loans and overdrafts, but he went quiet. Proper waste of time if you ask me.

Someone pretending to be from Citizens Advice started rattling on about chasing debts. When I asked a few questions, they just cut the call. Scammers usually freeze up if you don’t follow their script. I didn’t really get the chance to hear how they planned to get the full identity of the person or how they were supposedly going to assist.

Got a couple of calls from 07594572100 in just a minute, a woman with an Indian accent asking to talk to Miss (my first name). She claimed she was from Citizens Advice and asked if I owed any money. I told her she wasn’t actually from Citizens Advice and she just hung up. The government really needs to crack down on these scamming tossers operating from abroad trying to fool people in the UK.

Claimed to be from the Debt Advice Foundation, said it was a Government body. I asked which Government, and he said UK. Then I asked for his name and the company's address - he just cut the call. Just ask for their details, name and address, it usually makes them back off. It's daft we have to tolerate these annoying calls all the time, surely the police or govt should do something about it.

I’ve had loads of calls from this lot before, they keep switching numbers all the time. The Citizens Advice Bureau won’t ring you about debts out of the blue. They’re there to offer support if you reach out, not the other way round. Don’t hand over any personal details or bank info to these cheats. Just block the number straight away.

Received two calls from this bloke yesterday. Missed the initial one, but picked up the second. Sounded like an Asian dude claiming to be from Citizens Advice, saying there’s an enforcement order against me. He even said a copy was left at my home and actually knew my address. They rang me twice today, the nerve! First call, some bloke claiming he was from Citizens Advice, saying I got “unsecured debts linked to this number.” I told him he was lying and to get lost, then he just hung up. Later on, I got another call from a different bloke with an accent, probably Pakistani or Indian, saying the same rubbish about debts. Got a call from some Indian lady on this number out of the blue on a Saturday. Asked who she was, then told her she’s just a cold caller, like, who rings random people on a weekend? I got a call from someone named Simon claiming to be from Citizens Advice Bureau, sounded Asian. He was asking about my debts. I asked him how much I supposedly owed, but he couldn’t give me a figure. I told him I had about £55,000 in debt (just made that up). Then he asked how much I was paying back each month, I said nothing 'cause I didn’t want to pay and rather wanted more money. I asked if he could lend me some cash, but he said no, they don’t give money, just help with debt. Then he just hung up on me.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from citizens advice. When I asked why they were ringing my mobile, the guy said it’s because they use the internet to record the call. Eventually, someone did pick up and started going on about me owing money for payday loans, council tax and all sorts... which I definitely don’t have. When I pointed that out, the guy joked I must be loaded! I asked if he was messing about and then, out of nowhere, he threatened to sue me for ‘abuse’! Honestly, that was such a laugh. Got a call from someone claiming to represent the CAB complaints team, saying I had some debts to sort out as I supposedly wasn’t on any insolvency list. I immediately told them I had a DRO and had already worked through everything with CAB. After that, I got in touch with CAB to let them know about the call. The guy on the phone had a pretty strong Scandinavian accent!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from Citizen's Advice. She said there was a legal update about some debt I didn’t even have and a new government scheme to cut repayments by like 50 to 70 percent. Then she started asking about how much debt I owed, like 5 or 6 or even 7 thousand. Told her that debt wouldn't be on her records, and she just hung up on me.

Lately, I've been getting calls from numbers that look alike but are never legit. I usually just ignore any calls from unknown numbers unless I'm actually waiting for a call. That's exactly what I did today - I ignored the call, then checked the number afterwards. Really happy I took the time to look it up!

This number won’t stop ringing me while I’m at work. I tried texting to say I’d call them back later, but my message never got through. That made me a bit suspicious, so I tried to avoid it. Then I stumbled on this website via Facebook and decided to look up the number. Glad I did because now I’ve blocked it on my phone and won’t get bothered again.

Got a call a minute ago from a bloke who sounded Indian, chatting about some credit agency stuff. Could easily fool someone, feels quite dodgy to me. I didn’t even bother, just ended the call straight away. Proper annoying!
