I got a message from someone calling themselves Mrs K Adams saying ‘a new payee has been added to your HSBC mobile banking. If this wasnt you, please click the website below.’ I clicked the link but Google popped up a warning telling me it might be a scam and to stay safe. Then I looked up Mrs K Adams as I’d never heard of her and found loads of others had the same thing happen. So if you get a call or message like that, don’t reply or click on anything.
