Got a text saying I had a tax refund just waiting for me and to fill out a form from hmrc-council-tax.gb-uk.link. Sounds dodgy to me. They claim it’s from HMRC but also mention council tax, which ain’t handled by them, right? Plus, it’s sending this to my mobile but I ain’t the one registered for this tax thing. Been forced to report it to the ICO as potential spam. Beware folks!
