Got a call at like half past midnight from someone claiming to be Hermes, saying they tried to drop off a parcel. Then got an email about it too, really odd timing.

This 07589375363 keeps calling me claiming they’re from Amazon UK, but I reckon it’s just some scam. Definitely a dodgy number, so be careful if they ring you!

Got a call early morning at 8.15am, and then they rang me four more times when I wasn’t even close to the phone. Same old nonsense about illegal stuff on my line. Reckon they’re trying to scare me off before they disappear. Haven’t had these muppets bother me in ages until now.

Total con. The bloke claimed to be from VM and had me download some program called TeamViewer QuickSupport. It did a scan and then told me my router was faulty, saying I’d get a £320 refund. Then he asked me to log into my online banking so he could 'put the money' in my account. That’s when I clocked it was dodgy. Make sure you tell everyone you know, especially older folks or those who aren’t good with tech. He was really pushy and didn’t give up even though I was slow and on the phone to him for over an hour. I even put out a warning on Facebook. BE WARNED!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media saying there was an issue with my internet. They told me to ring Virgin back myself. At one point, they even mentioned my dog barking and tried chatting about her, which was a bit odd!

Got a call from BT in Manchester claiming my internet was involved in some dodgy activity. Yeah right, what a load of rubbish! Told the caller to jog on, total nonsense.

Someone claiming to be from BT’s tech support called me about an issue with my router. I asked how I could be sure he wasn’t trying to scam me, and he told me the BT office was at Griffin House in London. But as soon as I asked for the postcode, he just ended the call.

Been getting calls from this number every day, but after seeing what's been said about it, I’m just ignoring it now.

They claimed they were from Virgin. Total SCAM. They want you to open Event Viewer to "prove" your computer has problems. Don’t fall for it. After about 20 minutes, I told them I understood what they were doing and asked how they could feel good about ripping people off. Sad to say, they fool loads of less tech-savvy folks with this trick.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the "BT tech support." I’m not a BT customer at all. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

Got a missed call from this number earlier, so I’ve decided to block it now. Cheers to everyone who shared their experiences. Seriously though, when will something actually be done about all these scammers running around?

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach about a problem with my internet, which is odd since I’m not a BT customer. The guy, who said his name was ‘Adam’ and had an Indian accent, just wouldn’t stop talking and wouldn’t listen, so I ended up hanging up. He called me right back to ask why I’d cut him off, insisting he was talking to me. Feels like one of those dodgy scams, similar to the fake ‘Microsoft’ calls going around. Best not to engage with them at all.

Got a call from 07589657845, this bloke said he was Peter from Virgin Media’s tech department. I called him out right away, said I wasn’t having any of his lies. After that, all I heard was him telling me to f off before he hung up. Total scammer!

Someone called me claiming to be with Virgin Media, saying there was an issue with my router and that I could just log in on my iPad or whatever to fix it together. I told him I’d rather get in touch with Virgin Media’s official support myself. Suddenly the guy, who had an Indian accent, got quite annoyed. I didn’t appreciate his tone so I just told him I wasn’t happy with how he was speaking and hung up.

Got another call from a lady with a heavy accent claiming she was from Virgin. I just said, “No you’re not from Virgin, thanks,” and hung up. Really wish I’d known that number before! If it rings again, I’m just gonna ignore it for sure!

Why even have the number visible?! I said I’d put them through to the IT guy (which is actually my 8-year-old grandson), and then they just ended the call. Ridiculous.

Just got a call from 07589657845, probably some overseas scammers pretending to be from Virgin Media tech support. Pretty sure it was a bloke named Frank again, he called me a few days ago using a different dodgy number. I just told him straight up that I knew it was a scam and refused to answer anything, didn’t even say my name when he asked. If you’re unsure, just hang up immediately. Honestly, I wish there was a way to scam those scammers back!

This number rang me a couple of times this morning. I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers now. It’s annoying how nobody leaves a voicemail these days, isn’t it? After seeing what others said about it, I went ahead and blocked it. Honestly, that big red block button on my phone is a lifesaver!

This morning they kept calling me over and over, about six times. When I finally picked up, I said, “Hello, you’ve got the Copy Lane police station,” and they just hung up. Haven’t heard from them since.

This number called me twice today, and the second time, I didn’t even get a chance to say anything. I just caught some background noise like a call centre and then they ended the call. Quite annoying!
