Got a call from 07586163456 telling me I’d paid too much to the DVLA. They wanted me to follow a link to fix the payment and supposedly get my money back. I don’t even own a car or have insurance, so it was pretty obvious it was a scam right away!

Got a text claiming I'd paid too much on my car tax, with a link to get a refund. At first I was a bit worried since I had just sorted my vehicle tax online the day before, but something felt off since the amount was very specific - £107.17 to be precise. So I decided to ring up my bank and the DVLA to double check and turns out it's definitely a scam!
