So, this bloke John Nugent rang me saying I’d been approved for some government home insulation cash. He sent a couple of lads round who seemed properly interested in checking every nook and cranny of my house. But then, the big reveal - they wanted me to cough up £200 in cash right then and there for an ‘updated EPC’. Didn’t get a penny in funding at all, just them trying to con me out of my money. Proper dodgy stuff!
