Got a robo call supposedly from Amazon saying they charged me without permission. When I hit 1, a woman with an Indian accent came on, asking me to install a program called ANYDESK on my mobile. Apparently, it’s a remote desktop tool that would let her control my phone. I questioned why she needed that just to cancel a subscription. She insisted ANYDESK wasn’t for remote control but was used for verification. After a short back and forth, she just hung up on me.
