Got a recorded message from a woman claiming to be from HMRC, saying they’re contacting me about legal proceedings. Then it offers a menu to chat with their staff. The audio sounded really cheap and nothing like an official government call. Complete rubbish since my taxes are sorted and fully paid with no issues whatsoever. Also, I’m not about to press any buttons that might be used against me or imply consent to anything dodgy. So, I just blocked the number.
