Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be BT, saying they were about to disconnect my phone and internet because they’d supposedly tried reaching me. Thing is, I ain’t even got a BT contract! The voice was some posh English lady on an automated message telling me to press “1” to chat with an account manager. I'm pretty sure it was one of those premium rate numbers, meant to scam people. I reckon if I’d pressed, they’d have tried to steal money or hack into my computer.
